Welcome to the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC). The Center was created in 2009 to assist  faculty and instructors to excel at f2f and online instruction. With our assistance you will be better able to implement best-case instructional practices in your courses.

Mission

Our mission is to promote the scholarship of teaching and learning and to be your resource to assist in increasing student engagement and active learning. 

 Student success is one of the most important things to consider, and assisting faculty with improving their instruction is my first goal. I understand that use of technology in itself will not improve learning without well-designed instruction. With that in mind, my mission is to assist in the creation guidelines, help faculty with available instructional tools and to assist in the creation of new materials developed around learning needs and objectives for f2f and online classes.

Have taught both face-to-face and online classes in the visual communications area at Bowling Green State University, Owens Community College, and Millstream Cooperative.

Instructional Design Consultant, Video, Web, Animation, and Photography.

I am excited to be part of the Northwest State team and look forward to assisting you with the important job of making instruction and the learning experience here at NSCC an engaging one.
